A scene in Brick Lane, by Terry Freedman
Some of the best photos I take — or, at least, the ones I like the most — are taken in Brick Lane. Forty years ago, this area was very poor, and not what you’d call vibrant. Now it’s thriving and throbbing with excitement.
This is definitely a book worth having, and a good companion to the usual sort of writers' prompts collections.
I like photographing scenery in black and white, even though it may seem counterintuitive to do so.
I think if I were a fiction writer I could write a decent short story using this picture as a prompt.
