A new challenge: I have set myself the constraint of writing articles in 57 words. Why 57? Because I asked my wife to give me a number between 1 and 100, and that’s what she came up with.

Today began promisingly. The sun was shining, I had had a good night’s sleep, and so was full of energy, and full of ideas. I thought that before starting work I would do a few domestic chores. Two loads of washing, three deliveries, three text messages and two phone calls later, I finally – finally! – opened my laptop.
