A few years ago I thought I would test the capabilities of a pocket camcorder I’d been asked to review, by interviewing my lady wife. The interview took place in a crowded cafe, so the sound isn’t fantastic: turn the volume up a bit!

Well, the pocket camcorders have been thrown in the dustbin of history, but they were great. Easily portable, you could use them to record scenes and to interview people should the occasion and opportunity present themselves. I was sad to see it go, but these days we hasve smartphones and they are even more portable, more versatile, and do a better job in terms of quality.
So next time you’re thinking about an article, as yourself whether an interview would be appropriate. It is a great way to add a bit more dynamism to a blog post.
