The deadline for submitting an entry to the ALCS Educational Writers’ Awards this year (2020) has been extended to midday (GMT) on 10 July. That’s only a few days away, so be quick! The award is for nonfiction books written for 11-18 year olds, published during 2018 and 2019.

The crop of finalists at the Awards ceremony is always excellent — it must be a tough job deciding on the winner. I wrote about the Awards in December 2019 and in 2018. Last year’s winner was Great Adventurers, which I reviewed.
