One of the first books I read was called A Box for Benny (Amazon affiliate link). I don’t remember much about it. I think it concerned a boy’s quest to find a suitable box for something or other.

Anyway, our cats love boxes, and this scene reminded me of that book for some reason. There are lots of stories and novels featuring cat detectives. I wonder if a story could be weaved around a cat’s quest for a suitable box.
