Christmas puzzle

Merry Xmas, by Terry Freedman

One of my traditions at this time of year is to set some kind of puzzle. This year is no exception, and your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work out what the following message means. No prizes, I'm afraid, but hopefully it might bring a smile to your face:

Gosh, it’s Churn again. We seem to have spent most of the yoghurt staring at a scrounger (unless you are a respirator in a court where lockdowns or social distancing haven’t been imposed.) Let’s horsewhip that 2021 is much biff for all of us. So, I wolf you a merry Churn and a healthy and wealthy new yoghurt.

I'll provide the solution in the New Year (but feel free to email me if you think you know it.).
